The University of Alabama seeks a motivated Post-Doc/Visiting Scientist – Psychology – 511479 to work on an NIH-funded R01 project using multimodal neuroimaging to assess the impact of a reading intervention on the brain in children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).  Minimum qualifications, Ph.D. or other terminal degree in a field of research represented within the College. Prior research experience in the field of neuropsychiatric disorders, autism spectrum disorders, computational neuroimaging methods and diffusion imaging is a plus. The successful applicant will be responsible for aspects of study coordination and team oversight. The successful applicant will be actively involved in study design, neuroimaging protocol design and calibration, neuroimaging data collection and data analysis, and writing up manuscripts and publishing.
