Mary Helen Immordino-Yang, Professor of Education, Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Southern California, is accepting applications for prospective Ph.D. students for fall 2021.  Dr. Immordino-Yang admits students through these programs:

Students accepted into one of the above programs have the opportunity to conduct transdisciplinary research with Dr. Immordino-Yang and her team at the USC Center for Affective Neuroscience, Development, Learning and Education (CANDLE). CANDLE is housed jointly at the USC Brain and Creativity Institute and USC Rossier School of Education. CANDLE’s mission is to bring educational innovation and developmental affective neuroscience into partnership, and to use what is learned to guide the transformation of schools, policy, and the student and teacher experience for a healthier and more equitable society.
